John Wallace Wines
Hey you, it’s story time!
Who is behind John Wallace Wines?
It's powerhouse couple Richard and Beth and we can't wait to introduce you!
This young, playful, family loving duo really know how to work hard but effortlessly have time for all their family and friends. You only need to go look at their instagram to see there Friday deliveries done with car karaoke to know, they are a family of many hidden talents. Thankfully his wine is far better than his ability to perform karaoke!
Richard has helped produce some of the Hunter's best wines and worked closely with Scarborough, Thomas Wine's and Hunter's Dream Estate to name a few. He now is the head wine maker at Bimbadgen Estate and has begun his own family brand that's name developed from his two Grand father's, John and Wallace.
Their strong family values and work ethic shine through their wines and overall branding with each bottle telling a story.
He has recently released his new wine Sister's Chardonnay which is an ode to both Beth and Richard's 2 sisters and their two daughters, Florence and Stella and let's not forget their other sister/fur baby Tilly.
Family really is so close to their hearts and it shows in everything that they do. They both hold full time jobs, raise 2 beautiful children, are now getting ready to open their first cellar door later this year!
His all time dream was to have his own label and that became a reality in 2020 when he launched John Wallace Wines. Beginning his family gave him the drive and opportunity to venture out on his own and create the perfect foundation to build on AND we are so glad he did! We love our Juju Red and Maggie white that featured in our Wine Lovers Boxes.
You will always see them supporting local businesses and that is in fact how we came across them in the first place!
Beth is a serious coffee drinker, gym goer and was one of our first customers when we opened Mr O over 5 years ago. We knew she loved to drink wine as well but had no idea just how much until we met Richard and he explained how she was always in trouble for trying more than she should. Beth is just so real, honest and kind you will not come across a better person to chat with!
We can not wait to see them kick goals in 2022 and are so excited for their new cellar door.
That's all for our blog post today, until next month!
Much Love,
Josie
