Comyns & Co. Wines

Say Hey to Scotty and Missy Comyns!

They are a husband and wife duo that really make working with your spouse look so easy! Take it from me, it's also quite challenging but we wouldn't have it any other way!

My husband and I are very familiar with juggling the everyday demands of running a business, a home and children, which we are soon to understand better, yikes! However, these guys are the absolute pros and have the best attitude towards life, it's inspiring. They are the proud parents of Polly, Topsy and fur baby, Franklin.

For them to make it work they have to put in the work! I'm not talking about what you may already know. When you work with your spouse, there really isn't any meetings. All things 'business' get done in the strangest of times and the chats and brainstorming all happen in between breakfast, kids drop offs, lunch breaks, after school activities and they don't typically end, ever!

Then the after dinner convo's are the ones I particularly like because it's paired with a glass of wine and it's now creative time. You move on to discuss goals, problems, solutions and strategies moving forward and the mental list of jobs for the next day begins to accumulate.

Scotty has had an incredible career for over 20 years in the winemaking industry but he genuinely is so down to earth, oozes knowledge and is the furthest away from being a wine wanker! His style is edgy and he really respects the fruit and expresses it's individuality from the vine to the bottle.

Missy completes the team as cellar door Manager, mum and overall miracle worker. She is so energetic, refreshingly honest and is a lover of all things LIFE.

Comyns & Co is located in Peppers Creek on broke road in Pokolbin. If you are after the perfect hunter tasting, are ready to learn, laugh and seriously feel the love, then these guys are a must visit!

If you can't get there, we have some of their goodies in our Wine Lovers boxes

It seems to the outside world that you would see each other for everything or never really have a break when you rower with your spouse. Whilst this can be true it also works in your favour if you support each other and there is a whole lot of respect and appreciation for what the other person brings to the table.

We love seeing them continue to kick goals and watch the magic unfold...

That's all for our blog post today, until next month!

Much Love,

Josie
